Since we cannot be physically together as a parish community, here are some ideas for you to celebrate Easter within your family, the domestic church. May this time with your family create “holy moments” in your homes that you will remember and cherish in the midst of our current “storm.”
On Easter, stay connected with your family and friends creatively; you can make calls, Skype, FaceTime, use Zoom or Google to connect to multiple households. Share a meal together while you Skype or do virtual Easter Egg hunts! Anything we can do to bring joy to those we love, is time well spent.
Easter Sunday this year will be different, but it can also be a very memorable one at home with the family. Here are some ideas.

Keep vigil on Saturday night. If the weather cooperates, have a bonfire, read some of the readings from the Easter Vigil, and pray in thanksgiving. Christ is risen, even in this strange year. If you have holy water at home, bless yourselves and give thanks for the gift of your baptism.
Get the children (and adults) ready to follow along with the Mass
MagnifiKid provides a very child friendly booklet that the children can view on their computer or tablet.
